Nigerian stars keep shinning at the forthcoming 2025 NAACP Awards with Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Tems making the nomination list alongside actress Ayo Edebiri for the 56th show slated for February 22 at the Pasadena Civic Center, California.
Wizkid also bagged two nominations for Piece of My Heart, featuring Brent Faiyaz, while Burna Boy and Usher’s joint Coming Home earned them a nod for Best Collaboration. Tems made the cut with her hit Love Me JeJe in the Outstanding International Song category.
Ayo Edebiri was the brightest shiner with five nominations, including Outstanding Voiceover and Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series.
Even now, the NAACP recognizes Black excellence, while South Africa’s Tyla has been nominated for Outstanding New Artist. Africa’s talent is taking over the world stage!
