The MOBO Awards 2025 brought together some of the biggest names in music and entertainment, but it wasn’t just the top global artists and awesome performances that stole the show—the red carpet fashion was equally unforgettable.

As stars arrived at the prestigious event, all eyes were on their stunning (and sometimes surprising) outfit choices, which ranged from bold, daring ensembles to timeless, elegant looks. The red carpet at MOBOs 2025 was a lookbook of creativity, individuality, and high fashion, with celebrities pushing boundaries and setting trends.

However, as with any major awards show, not every look hit the mark. While some celebrities wowed with their impeccable style and attention to detail, others missed the mark with outfits that left fans and fashion critics scratching their heads. From jaw-dropping gowns to questionable fashion choices, the MOBOs 2025 red carpet was a mix of hits and misses that sparked conversations across social media and beyond.

In this article, we’ll take a closer look at the most memorable moments from the MOBOs 2025 red carpet. We’ll rate the best and worst looks of the night, highlighting the standout styles that defined the event and the fashion faux pas that missed the mark.

The Best Red Carpet Looks at MOBOs 2025

Nigeria’s very own Afrobeats artist, Ayra Starr dazzled in a peach sequin gown along with a fur drape of the same color.

The Nova Twins were another one of the best red carpet looks at MOBOs 2025. Their gothic twinning moment had me hooked. They both wore black gowns featuring lace designs and and fishnets respectively.

Music stars weren’t the only ones who chose to grace the occasion fashionably as former contestants on popular Tv show “Love Island” brought their A-game in the fashion department.

Former contestant on the show and the 2025 MOBO host, Indiyah Polack looked dangerously fabulous in a floor length black leather gown featuring nipple tassles — how very couture. Ella Thompson on the hand was a vision in her black ballroom-inspired corset gown, complete with a dramatic train that flowed effortlessly as she walked the red carpet.

I, unfortunately could not bring myself to like Kanye King’s mustard yellow dress not to mention that the hue horribly clashed with her skin tone. Overall, it was not a flattering look for the celebrity.

Shaznay Lewis’s glittery silver gown proved unflattering for this public figure on the red carpet. To further complicate things, her bob wig featuring curled bangs did not do much for her facial structure, further worsening the fashion moment.

Honorable Mentions from the MOBO 2025 Awards Night

Other Love Islanders, Amber Gill and her co-reality tv star, Fleur East made a statement on the MOBO 2025 red carpet wearing varying designs of two-piece ensembles. The former wore a black and white two-piece suit featuring a cropped shirt and black tie while the latter wore an all-white two-piece suit.
