Nigerian social media critic VeryDarkMan (VDM), also known as Martins Otse, has responded to Mohbad’s wife Wunmi’s recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo.
Wunmi recently made her first interview appearance since her husband’s death on the With Chude show, where she spoke about Mohbad’s tragic passing and her journey as a young widow.
In the interview, Wunmi revealed that a nurse was involved in her husband’s death, claiming that his record label had planned to arrest the nurse for administering an injection to the late artist.
The widow added that her father-in-law intervened to stop the record label representatives from arresting the nurse.
Wunmi also questioned the autopsy results, hinting that Mohbad’s death could have been due to poisoning.
She stated that Mohbad was in good health before the nurse’s visit but began experiencing a crisis immediately after receiving the injection.
In a video shared on his Instagram on Friday, VDM scrutinised Wunmi’s remarks, stating that her omission of Naira Marley’s name in the discussion could fuel speculation about the singer’s last moments.
He acknowledged that Naira Marley may have bullied Mohbad but argued that he was not the primary figure responsible for the singer’s death.
VDM criticised Chude for failing to question Wunmi about the viral videos capturing her argument with Mohbad, calling the interview a “whitewash.”
In conclusion, the critic proposed that Mohbad’s widow might have been influenced by a more powerful figure, leading her to place the blame on Naira Marley.
VDM expressed that, after the interview, he now perceives Wunmi in a different light. He believes that while she is 70% innocent, she is being manipulated by others.
VDM also shared that, after watching the viral interview, he is beginning to believe that Liam is indeed Mohbad’s son.
