Kogi Head of Service Mourns Former Deputy Governor Patrick Adaba

The Kogi State Head of Service (HOS), Dr. Elijah Evinemi, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of former Deputy Governor, Chief Patrick Adaba. In a statement issued on Tuesday in Lokoja, Evinemi described Adaba as a distinguished statesman and an icon whose contributions to national and state development have left an indelible mark.

Passing of a Former Deputy Governor

Chief Patrick Adaba, who served as the Deputy Governor of Kogi State from 1999 to 2003 under the late former Governor Prince Abubakar Audu, passed away on Sunday at the age of 78. His death came barely 48 hours after the burial of his elder brother, Dr. Tom Adaba, who died on February 22 at the age of 84.
