Nollywood actress and filmmaker Bimbo Ademoye has cried out after discovering that several YouTube channels have used her film’s title and poster without permission.

Taking to her Instagram page, Ademoye expressed deep disappointment over what she described as outright content theft.

She revealed that multiple channels had copied her creative work and warned that she would be taking action against them.

In a fiery post, she mentioned two of the channels — Nollynew Series TV and Nolly Specials — accusing them of illegally using her project materials for the past few days.

“Enough is enough!” she declared. “My blood, sweat, tears, hard work, money, and sleepless nights will not be enjoyed by someone else.”

Bimbo called on her followers to help report the offending pages, stating that she was prepared to go to any length to protect her intellectual property. She labelled those behind the act as “evil demons” taking credit for what they never worked for.

She also referenced a similar issue faced by fellow filmmaker Biodun Stephen, whose movie, she said, had been copied by over 40 YouTube uploads all bearing her thumbnail image.

Bimbo didn’t stop there. She called out another content page—Ayodeji Films—vowing to hold them accountable as well. She even hinted at involving Ghanaian authorities if necessary, referencing a television station in Ghana that allegedly engaged in similar practices.

“If I have to tag the office of @officialjdmahama to ensure this stops, I will,” she wrote. “Let the battle begin.”

The actress’s outburst has drawn attention to the growing issue of content theft on digital platforms, especially in the Nigerian film industry, where creators often face unauthorised uploads and monetisation of their work.

Ademoye made it clear she would no longer remain silent and promised to see the matter through until justice is served.
