The summer window is still off to a scorching start and European clubs are rushing to seal important deals before the deadline. Latest hot news from August 4 and 5 have been covered here.

Newcastle United continue to be one of the most talked-about teams in the media. The Magpies are said to have made a first offer to Crystal Palace back leader Marc Guehi and at the same time organize a bid for Milan AC defender Malick Thiaw. Their chase of Leipzig RB striker Benjamin Sesko goes on stronger than ever with news flying around that they have given a bid of €90 million which is along with the one of Manchester United that consists of €75 million and an extra of €10 million for the race in addition.

On the other hand, Chuba Akpom finds himself amidst a strange transfer scandal in the English football league. The teams of Birmingham City, Middlesbrough, and Ipswich Town cannot come to terms over it and are no less than competitors fighting for the signature of the Ajax forward.

In the confirmed news, West Ham right-back Vladimir Coufal is now a member of the Hoffenheim family after signing a permanent deal, thus interrupting a five-year period in the Premier League that is over.

Everton have pulled back from the conversation of recruiting Tyler Dibling since Southampton have rejected their £40 million offer.

Al Nassr have reached out to Marseille concerning Mason Greenwood but, the French side is reluctant to part with him.

Burnley have come to terms with Chelsea to bring Lesley Ugochukwu on board, and LAFC have reportedly finalized a contract with Heung-min Son after his goodbye tour at Tottenham.

In other moves, Al Ahli might have also disrupted Atletico Madrid’s chase for Enzo Millot of Stuttgart.
