It is claimed that, the Turkish giants Trabzonspor are in negotiations with Manchester United in order to get a loan move for Andre Onana, the goalkeeper.
The Camerounian goal machine, who had a very negative 2024/25 season at Old Trafford, has been gradually demoted after a number of bad performances. The last game he played was in the Carabao Cup, where he was out of sorts in United’s unexpected elimination via a penalty shootout against Grimsby Town, a League Two team.
The ex-goalie of Fenerbahce is evidently second choice behind Altay Bayindir at this point, and Onana’s stay at the club is rumored to be shortened even more with the signing of Belgian goalkeeper Senne Lammens from Antwerp for £18.2 million on the deadline day.
Galatasaray are referring to Onana after they found the solution in Trabzonspor and obtained the goalkeeper for the opposition. It was not a trap to us, but rather a straightforward business, as the Turks are quickly moving on with plans to replace the set-up with a player from Old Trafford in front of them. Trabzonspor, who have time until the close of the Turkish transfer market on September 12, are convinced he will be a good hire to fill in the blank.
Onana will have the final say if they are right in presuming that the two clubs have reached a mutual agreement with respect to Onana. The 28-year-old’s task is to decide whether to continue pursuing the competition at Old Trafford or start anew in the Super Lig.
