Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, is bringing his 5ive Tour back to Nigeria, with scheduled performances in Akwa Ibom, Adamawa, Enugu, Ibadan, and Lagos.
On Tuesday, the multi-award-winning singer shared the complete itinerary for the Nigerian leg on X (formerly Twitter).
The tour will kick off in Uyo, Akwa Ibom, on October 26, then move to Yola, Adamawa, on October 29, followed by Enugu on November 1, and will wrap up with shows in Ibadan on November 9 and Lagos on December 25.
Speaking about the significance of returning home after a successful North American tour, Davido expressed his excitement for the Nigerian shows.
“I’m blessed to perform all around the world, and everywhere I go — Nigeria goes with me. But this time, I’m bringing it home.
“After an unforgettable North American tour, it’s only right we bring that energy back where it all began.
“My 5ive Tour Nigeria, y’all ready? This one’s for the culture. This one’s personal. This one’s for us,” he wrote.
Earlier this year, Davido’s 5ive Tour saw sold-out performances across the United States and Canada, where he entertained fans with tracks from his Grammy-nominated album, Timeless.
