Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has been photographed for the first time in a prison mugshot, revealing a dramatic change from the stylish public persona fans once knew.
The 56-year-old now appears with gray hair, a scruffy beard, and dressed in a maroon prison sweater as he serves his sentence for prostitution-related convictions at a low-security facility in New Jersey.
Combs, famous for hits like “I Need A Girl,” was moved last month from Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center to the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix after his July conviction. Sources say that despite the contrast from designer suits and red-carpet events, Combs is focused on turning his life around while behind bars.

He currently serves as the chaplain’s assistant and is participating in a drug rehabilitation program that could shorten his sentence by up to a year. Additionally, he has revived his entrepreneurial class, “Free Game with Diddy,” teaching fellow inmates business strategies and personal development.
“His sobriety and self-discipline are priorities, and he is taking them seriously,” his spokesperson said, emphasizing that Combs is committed to growth and positive change.
Even so, Diddy has encountered minor challenges in prison. Reports indicate he recently broke call rules during a three-way phone conversation and was allegedly found consuming an unusual concoction. His team maintains these incidents do not constitute rule violations and insists the rapper remains dedicated to maintaining sobriety.
