Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has reportedly been taken into custody following her heated social media accusations involving Pastor Chris Okafor.
The reported arrest comes days after the actress publicly urged the Department of State Services (DSS) to probe Pastor Okafor’s church altar, claiming that a person allegedly lost their life during its construction.
The development was made public by popular comedian Deeone, who shared the update on Instagram, sparking widespread reactions online. In his post, he wrote, “Doris Ogala has just been arrested. I tried to warn her; the allegations didn’t add up. Now, she will have to defend everything in court. Everywhere, good my people”.
Doris Ogala and Pastor Chris Okafor have been in the spotlight in recent weeks following a series of controversial claims by the actress.
She alleged that the cleric promised to marry her but later became engaged to another woman, Pearl, whom he reportedly married on December 16, 2025.
According to Ogala, her relationship with the pastor began in 2017. She is now demanding ₦1 billion in compensation, citing breach of promise, emotional trauma, and damage to her reputation.
In addition to the relationship dispute, the actress also called on the DSS to investigate the circumstances surrounding the construction of the church altar, raising concerns over an alleged death linked to the project.
As of the time of reporting, there has been no official statement from Pastor Chris Okafor or the authorities regarding the reported arrest or the allegations.
