Nollywood actress Anita Joseph has addressed recent social media exchanges involving her estranged husband, Fisayo Michael, popularly known as MC Fish, urging him to stop bringing her into online conflicts and allow her to move on.
Sharing a post on her Instagram story, the actress made it clear that she had no interest in engaging in public arguments, especially as the new year begins.
“Memo to my ex. I don’t want to run in the mud with you,” Anita Joseph wrote. “Please, this is a new year. If you have whatever you want to say, please say it now and let me get on with my life.”

She added that she was unaware of whom MC Fish was targeting online and asked to be excluded from any ongoing disputes.
“I don’t know who you are fighting with online, but please leave me out of whatever you are fighting. This new year is growth and all positivity for me. Stop dragging me back with your mess,” she stated.
The actress concluded her message with a firm appeal: “Shalom!! Leave me alone!!!”
Anita Joseph’s response comes after MC Fish defended himself on social media against claims that he depended financially on her during their five-year marriage. In a series of Instagram posts, he asserted that he had been working in the entertainment industry for over 15 years and had earned his income independently both before and during the marriage.
He also challenged the narrative that Anita Joseph was solely responsible for household expenses and warned that he would respond if false claims were made about him.
Despite this, Anita Joseph appeared uninterested in continuing the public back-and-forth, focusing instead on staying out of online confrontations and prioritising personal growth in the new year.
