After Xabi Alonso’s departure from Real Madrid, Jude Bellingham has denied that there was any fallout between the two of them and called such rumors “damaging misinformation”.
Alonso and Los Blancos parted ways on Monday by mutual agreement, only 24 hours after Madrid lost to Barcelona in the Supercopa de España final in Saudi Arabia. The ex-midfielder was at the helm for just seven months, taking over initially for the Club World Cup last summer, but still achieved a great record, with 24 wins from 34 games across all competitions.

After the Super Cup defeat, Madrid is still second in LaLiga, four points behind Barcelona, and they are well placed to be among the last 16 teams in the Champions League group stage.
Earlier in the season, it was rumored that Alonso had arguments with several key players, among whom Bellingham and Vinícius Júnior were mentioned. Nevertheless, the English player took no time to respond to the rumors by shutting them down and expressing his annoyance with what he called “click-driven” journalism.
Bellingham, with 4 goals and 3 assists in the league from 15 appearances this season, encouraged the fans to be skeptical about everything that they read.
Alonso has been succeeded by Álvaro Arbeloa, who will be starting off his coaching career in a Copa del Rey match against Albacete, as Madrid will be aiming to continue their impressive away record.
