Nigerian music heavyweight Davido has once again professed his love for his wife, Chioma, following his loss at the 2026 Grammy Awards.
The singer had been nominated alongside Burna Boy and Ayra Starr in the Best African Music Performance category but lost out to South African artiste Tyla at the ceremony held on Sunday, February 1.
After the event, Davido broke his silence on social media, sharing photos from the Grammys with Chioma and his manager, Asa Asika.

In his post, the award-winning star expressed confidence in God’s plan, noting that divine support remains on his side.
Davido also revealed that he initially had reservations about attending the awards ceremony, having already convinced himself that he would not win. However, he credited Chioma for encouraging him to show up regardless of the outcome.
According to the singer, his wife reminded him of the importance of character in both success and disappointment.

Still visibly appreciative, Davido later took to his Instagram story to shower Chioma with praise, describing her as his unwavering support system.
