Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has delivered a powerful message of self-love and encouragement to plus-sized women as she opened up about her weight-loss journey.
Sharing her transformation photos online, the actress explained that physical size is not the real challenge, but rather negative self-perception and emotional self-criticism.
She reminded her followers that worth is not determined by body shape, stressing that anyone can be confident, loved, admired, and successful regardless of their size.

According to Badmus, her journey taught her that lasting change begins internally and grows through deliberate, consistent actions rather than sudden efforts.
She urged individuals striving for transformation to show patience and kindness to themselves, noting that confidence is rooted in mindset, not measurements.
“I need you to hear this from me….being ‘fat’ is not the problem. Hating yourself is. Doubting yourself is believing you’re not enough. That’s the real struggle.
“Your size has never cancelled your worth. You can be confident, successful, loved, admired, and unstoppable at any size. And if you choose to lose weight, let it be from a place of love….not shame. Let it be because you want to feel healthier, stronger, and happier… not because the world told you to shrink.
“My weight-loss journey has taught me one powerful lesson: transformation starts in the mind. I didn’t wake up one day different….I made small, consistent decisions. And guess what? You can too. If I can do it, you can absolutely do it.
“But listen carefully….even before the weight changes, you must love the body you’re in right now. Respect it. Thank it. Celebrate it. This body has carried you through so much. Don’t insult it.
“If you’re on a journey, be patient with yourself. If you’re not, still walk boldly. Confidence is not a size; it’s an attitude.
“And to everyone who has supported and celebrated my journey so far… I see you. I appreciate you. Your love means everything to me. Thank you for growing with me.
“Let’s keep becoming better….not because we hate who we are, but because we love ourselves enough to evolve.”
Her post has since drawn widespread praise from fans and followers, many of whom commended her for her honesty, vulnerability, and empowering message.
