The management of Prime Care Hospitals in Abuja has dismissed circulating reports claiming that social media influencer Mukoro Mitchelle, popularly known as King Mitchy, died at their facility.

The clarification comes in response to posts reportedly from King Mitchy’s management, which stated that she had ingested a harmful substance and was rushed to the hospital, where medical staff were unable to save her.

In an official statement shared on Instagram on Saturday, the hospital emphasized that King Mitchy was never admitted to their facility and did not pass away there.

Confusion Over King Mitchy’s Alleged Death As Hospital Denies Claims

“The management of Prime Care Hospitals wishes to inform the public that the announcement of the alleged death of Miss Mukoro Mitchelle, popularly known as King Mitchy, at our facility in Abuja is FALSE. King Mitchy was never a patient in our hospital and did not pass away here,” the statement said.

The hospital added that it is actively working with authorities to identify the source of the misinformation and will take legal steps against those responsible.

“We are working with authorities to investigate the source of this misinformation and will take all necessary legal actions against those responsible. Please verify information through our official channels before sharing,” the management added.

The confusion began roughly nine hours earlier, when King Mitchy’s management reportedly posted a video on Instagram suggesting she consumed a bleach agent during a TikTok livestream. The post claimed that despite medical intervention at Prime Hospital Abuja, she could not be revived:

“We are deeply heartbroken to share that our beloved Michelle has passed on.

“Despite all efforts from the medical team here in Abuja, we were told her condition was critical, and sadly, she could not be revived. Rest in peace, Michhelle. You will never be forgotten.

“If you know Prime Hospital in Abuja, help us beg them to do something to save her. Her mother has fainted in Lagos already and has been taken to a hospital,” the post read.

These contradictory reports have sparked confusion and concern among fans and followers. As of now, King Mitchy’s death has not been independently confirmed by her family or official authorities.
