APC Primaries: Tinubu wins with over 900 votes.

Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the former Governor of Lagos State and the presidential aspirant of the All Progressive Congress, APC has been Victorious in the Just concluded party Primary elections for 2022.

The Primary elections took place at Eagle’s Square, Abuja, the Nation’s capital from the Dawn of Tuesday the 7th of June to Wednesday the 8th of June, 2022.

The Victor garnered 1,271Votes. Following him was the former Minister of Transport and Former Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi with 316 votes.

The Jagaban, while rendering his speech during the convention called on everyone present to Vote him as the man capable of the Job while praising other aspirants present. He also sighted activities and achievements of his experience as the Lagos State Governor. Following this, he went on to explain to everyone that the APC remains the best party and to date practices democracy which is why they were there today.

He also called on the Delegates to vote wisely because this is a serious matter on the ground. He also opined that he was going to restore the economy of Nigeria just like the way he transformed the economy of Lagos.

Following this, Six aspirants stepped down for Tinubu while pledging their loyalty. For their reason, they proclaimed that Tinubu was the right man for the job.

They include Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State; Senator Godswill Akpabio; Professor Ajayi Borroffice; Mr. Dimeji Bankole; Senator Ibikunle Amosun; and Mrs. Uju Ohanenye.

After hours of Counting Votes, Tinubu Emerged as the winner of the APC presidential ticket.

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu~ 1,271 Votes.

Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi ~316 Votes

Professor Yemi Osibanjo ~ 235 Votes.

Senate President Ahmed Lawan~ 152 Votes.

Governor of Kogi State Yahaya Bello ~ 47 Votes.

Dave Umahi – 38

Ogbonnaya Onu – 1

Ahmed Sani – 4

Tunde Bakare – 0

Rochas Okorocha – 0

Ben Ayade – 37

Chief Ikeobasi Mokelu – 0
