The presidential aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party has taken to his Twitter page to write a congratulatory message to his opponent, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the winner of the presidential ticket of the All Progressive Congress.
He described his win as a “hard-fought contest” and said that Tinubu was able to prevail as the champion. He said that this win confirmed his tenacity.
Tinubu was announced as the winner of the APC presidential primary election on Wednesday with a landslide victory of 1271 delegates votes. Tinubu in his winning speech at the Eagles Square said that he was ready to work with everyone and he held no grudges against anyone that had not supported him in his quest to win the ticket.
