Veteran Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde has opened up about her past struggles with aggression, reflecting on how challenges in her childhood shaped her temperament.
In a video of her viral interview circulating on social media, the actress explained that the difficulties her family faced contributed to her earlier aggressive behavior.
“I used to be very aggressive. When I was younger, I used to be very aggressive because I used to have a lot of rage. I think from the time I lost my dad, I couldn’t blame God because I gave my life to Christ, but inside, I was looking for someone to blame. I don’t know if I was looking for it, but I was just angry at life. Why me? Why did I deserve this?” she said.

Omotola added that her impatience and frustration at life’s challenges were part of the issue, but she has now learned to manage her emotions through maturity and faith.
“And life just went really bad for us. I was like, it’s not fair, and I just had very little patience. But I have grown, with maturity, God, and life. That part of me, has it ever come around me anymore? I’ve had it come maybe once in a blue moon, and I hate the feeling,” she revealed.
Her candid reflection highlights her personal growth and how faith and life experience helped her overcome a once-dominant anger and impatience.
