A man previously linked to stalking incidents involving American singer Billie Eilish has died after being struck by a train in the United States.
Prenell Rousseau, 30, was reportedly hit by a Long Island Rail Road train in Westbury at about 5:38 a.m. on Wednesday. Authorities said he was jogging close to the tracks when the incident occurred, adding that his death is being treated as accidental.
Rousseau first drew public attention in 2020 after repeatedly appearing at Eilish’s residence in Los Angeles, raising safety concerns for the singer and her family. His actions led to legal steps being taken against him.

According to court records, he exhibited unusual behaviour during several visits and was eventually arrested for trespassing. During one encounter, he reportedly spoke with Eilish’s father, Patrick O’Connell, claiming he might have gone to the wrong address, but later returned the same day.
Over a span of two days, Rousseau allegedly came back multiple times, at one point sitting on the porch reading and talking to himself while ignoring requests to leave. Even after security intervened and escorted him away, he reportedly returned again and concealed himself near the property.
Documents also indicated that he ignored COVID-19 safety protocols during the visits, touching surfaces around the home without wearing a face mask, which heightened the family’s concerns.
Eilish had described the situation as “frightening,” noting the emotional distress it caused her household.
A court subsequently issued a three-year restraining order against Rousseau, with provisions for extension if he attempted to contact the singer again.
