Nollywood actor Zubby Michael has come under criticism and support following his reaction to the recent attack in Angwan Rukuba, Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.
The actor, reacting on his Instagram page, urged Christians in the area to consider relocating in order to stay safe, warning that remaining could expose them to further danger.
”Christians should leave Jos,” he wrote, calling on residents to take precautions.

His statement quickly generated reactions across social media, with many users expressing disagreement. Some argued that relocating is not an easy decision and that people should not be forced to abandon their homes due to insecurity.
Media personality Ifedayo Olarinde also reacted, questioning the call for relocation and stressing that security should be the responsibility of the authorities.
”Why? It’s their homeland? Why should they run? It’s the government’s duty to protect them,” he stated.
The exchange has continued to spark conversations online about safety, displacement, and the need for stronger security measures in affected communities.
