Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has advised men to walk away from relationships where they are not respected.
In a recent post shared on X, the actor cautioned against enduring unhealthy treatment in the name of love or marriage, insisting that respect should remain a top priority.
According to him, any partner who fails to show respect does not deserve to remain in the relationship.
“Men stop tolerating nonsense in the name of marriage or relationship. If your wife or girlfriend doesn’t respect you, dump her immediately and get someone who respects you. Your respect as a man is non negotiable,” he wrote.

Edochie, known for his outspoken views on relationships, had previously stirred conversations in August 2024 when he encouraged unmarried women to consider proposing to their partners if the relationship was not progressing.
The actor has remained a controversial figure since April 2022 after unveiling Judy Austin as his second wife and announcing the birth of their child.
The development sparked backlash, especially from his first wife, May Edochie, who later filed for divorce in August 2023 and demanded N100 million in damages.
Beyond acting, Edochie also ventured into ministry, launching his online church, True Salvation Ministry (TSM), which he said was in response to a divine calling.
