American rapper and actress Megan Thee Stallion has confirmed her breakup with NBA player Klay Thompson, accusing him of infidelity and emotional strain in their relationship.
The Grammy-winning artist made the announcement via her Instagram page on Saturday, where she expressed disappointment over how the relationship ended and alleged that Thompson admitted he was unable to stay committed.
“Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house, got ‘cold feet’. Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season now you don’t know if you can be ‘monogamous’????. Bitch I need a REAL break after this one. Bye yall omg love you frenn, praying for you,” she wrote.
Thompson, however, pushed back against the allegations, claiming that he was not the only one at fault and suggesting that Megan had also been unfaithful during the relationship. He also expressed frustration over the financial cost of their romance.
“She cheated on me first of course, I’m gonna cheat back. I’m just mad I spent over 4 million on her. I will never do that again,” he stated.
The pair went public with their relationship in July 2025 and had frequently shared moments together online before the split, which has now turned into a public exchange of accusations.
