Real Madrid is looking into the issue, and a disciplinary case has been launched after Fede Valverde and Aurélien Tchouaméni had a training ground row this week.
Reports in Spain stated that Valverde ended up in hospital after reportedly hitting his head on a table during an argument with his team-mate at Valdebebas. Some of the Spanish media had even stated that a fight had broken out, including punch-ups that made the Uruguayan lose consciousness for a moment.
Valverde has, however, denied the claims, stating on Instagram, “During the row, I accidentally hit my forehead against a table, which caused a small cut. Neither of my teammates, nor did I, punch the other”.
He continued to state that things got out of hand after a difficult campaign at Madrid. “It was due to an accumulation of many things,” he wrote.

The situation allegedly developed after an earlier row between the two earlier this week, with frustrations within the dressing room high following a poor season.
The Spanish media also claimed that there were tensions within the whole squad, with various players allegedly complaining about performances as well as the club’s issues.
However, neither player is being looked at to be sold by the club in the summer, though both are being eyed for potential internal fines and suspensions.
