Dropping points against Bournemouth in a 1-1 tie on Tuesday night has seen Manchester City handed over the title, with Arsenal getting congratulated after winning it for the first time in 22 years
This is the first title in 22 years for the north London club since Arsene Wenger lifted the Premier League for the ‘Invincibles’ season in 2003-04.
Despite finishing second in all three prior years, Arteta was finally able to win it following the immense pressure during the run-in, which only intensified throughout the six full campaigns as manager.
Though they surrendered their title challenge, leading Manchester City by nine points in April, where it looked like it was slipping away, they responded perfectly, winning all four games whilst City dropped key points.

Arsenal have proved that they are the most consistent team in the Premier League this term, winning 25 of their 37 games and only letting in 26 goals in the process, and won a Premier League Golden Glove award with David Raya for his performance in between the sticks.
The club has also geared up to play Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final, with a potentially historic double also on the horizon.
