”I Started It”: Trump Brags About Iran War and Says Israel Wouldn’t Exist Without Him

In an explosive media appearance, U.S. President Donald Trump has loudly taken credit for initiating the ongoing military conflict with Iran. Speaking directly to the New York Post, Trump laughed off public criticisms that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu manipulated the United States into the combat arena. “He tricked me? I’m the one who started it,” Trump boasted, aggressively doubling down on his administration’s preemptive strike policy.

Bragging of All-Out War and Bombing Campaigns

Trump justified his aggressive warfare by claiming that absolute military intervention was the only path left to dismantle Tehran’s nuclear program. He went a step further, claiming that Israel would have been wiped off the map entirely without his violent intervention. “There would be no Israel right now,” Trump announced during the interview.

The President also claimed that the current bombing campaigns have successfully devastated the Iranian state without risking American lives. “We don’t need boots on the ground now,” Trump said. “We wiped out much of their military with just bombing. We didn’t put anybody on the ground.” Despite his boasts of a weakened enemy, Trump confidently declared that Iranian negotiators have already buckled and permanently agreed never to hold a nuclear weapon again.

Profanity and Bloodshed

Behind the scenes, alliances are showing deep cracks. Trump openly confirmed reports that he had a furious, profanity-laced phone call with Benjamin Netanyahu.

The U.S. President admitted he berated Netanyahu with expletives because he was deeply perturbed by Israel’s constant, relentless air raids in Lebanon, which threatened to pull the region into an even greater disaster.

Meanwhile, the fragile ceasefire agreed upon in April has completely shattered. Air sirens roared across the Gulf as Iran launched a coordinated retaliatory barrage of 13 ballistic missiles and 17 drones directly into Kuwait.
While Kuwaiti defences managed to intercept a large portion of the assault, a direct hit on Kuwait International Airport killed an Indian national and left 63 civilians wounded. This marks the first confirmed death in a Gulf state since the April truce.

Simultaneously, Iran’s foreign ministry issued a severe threat to surrounding nations, warning that any territory or airspace utilised by American forces would be met with an immediate, overwhelming deluge of missile strikes.

Trump’s Ego Is Feeding a Global Bloodbath

President Trump’s public bragging about starting a catastrophic war is completely disqualifying, dangerous, and morally repulsive. Watching a world leader gloat about dropping waves of bombs on another country while treating the survival of millions of human lives like a game show is sickening.

Trump’s unhinged claim that Israel “wouldn’t exist” without him shows an egomaniac who views a complex geopolitical tragedy purely as a marketing tool for his own brand. He boasts about having “no boots on the ground” as if aerial slaughter doesn’t count as real warfare, completely blind to the fact that his actions have reignited a powder keg.

Worse still is his childish relationship with Netanyahu. Cursing out an ally over the phone because he is “perturbed” by the bombing of Lebanon proves that the administration has absolutely no long-term diplomatic strategy.

The tragic death of an innocent worker at the Kuwait airport is the direct result of this reckless, cowboy diplomacy. By treating international relations like a series of podcast clips and personal vendettas, Trump is actively destroying global stability. If the White House continues to prioritise personal ego over actual strategy, this localised war will explode into a global conflict that no amount of aerial bombing can fix.
