Victor Osimhen continues his good form and collects praise in Turkish media for scoring two against Galatasaray. The striker hit two goals as the Turkish giants continued their promising form by defeating Erzurumspor FK. He has now recorded 4 goals and 1 assist for Gala in the opening two league games of his term at Turkish Super Lig Champions.
Osimhen has also drawn the attention of many in Turkey as Spor Arena has branded him “a player among the five best forwards in the world”.
Osimhen has been the subject of rumors with a move to the Emirates during the upcoming winter transfer window, with rumors of having talks with Arsenal. A major obstacle on the way will be his wage demands, estimated at 17.1m a season at Galatasaray.

Osimhen’s brace against Erzurumspor FK continues his fine work for Gala; he has now scored a total of 63 goals. He is Galatasaray’s 3rd highest-scoring foreigner and is just 14 goals behind Mauro Icardi’s 77-goal record.
Turkish publication Skorer commented on Osimhen’s constant effort and his energy-boosting work rate to pressure every opponent on the ball.
With Arsenal monitoring the situation, he may be proving quite hard to acquire and a very expensive prospect for Gunners’ manager Mikel Arteta.
