Nigerian Afrobeats star Burna Boy is set to unveil his first sneaker collection with On, the Swiss sportswear company co-owned by tennis legend Roger Federer, more than a year after entering into a multi-year partnership with the brand.
The three-piece collection will go on sale on Thursday, October 22, through On’s stores and website, as well as selected retailers including Foot Locker. The sneakers will be available in unisex sizes, with prices ranging from $150 to $180.
The collection features footwear designed around three key areas of On’s business — running, tennis and lifestyle.
Leading the range is a special edition of the Cloudmonster running shoe, priced at $180. The sneaker comes entirely in a deep red shade known as Sienna, with the upper and cushioned sole sharing the same colour.

The Cloudtilt Remix, designed for everyday wear and walking, will retail for $170. It features an Ox Brown colour scheme, including a matching brown sole instead of the brand’s usual white finish.
The third model is a tennis-inspired Roger Clubhouse, priced at $150. The shoe comes in white and replaces the standard mesh upper with leather. It also features metal eyelets, an embossed On logo and visible stitching around the heel.
While the collection introduces new colours and materials, the three sneakers retain the established silhouettes associated with their respective On models. The designs also avoid prominent or oversized branding.
On announced its partnership with Burna Boy, whose real name is Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, in September 2025. Under the agreement, the singer was named “Clubhouse President”, a position connected to the company’s tennis-focused activities and its Clubhouse Nights events.
The Clubhouse Nights series brings together tennis, music and art in cities including New York, Miami and Paris. Burna Boy headlined the Paris edition earlier in 2025 and later hosted a private event at On’s Clubhouse in Lagos toward the end of the year.
Speaking when the partnership was announced, Burna Boy highlighted the relationship between his work in music and wider cultural and sporting movements.
“It’s all connected,” he said. “On gets that. Our partnership is about shaking things up and creating new energy in the world of sports.”
On CEO Martin Hoffmann also praised the singer’s influence, saying Burna Boy “doesn’t just make music; he moves communities.”
On was established in Zurich in 2010 by former Swiss triathlete Olivier Bernhard and entrepreneurs David Allemann and Caspar Coppetti. Federer became an investor in the company in 2019 and has since played a role in developing footwear for the brand.
The company went public on the New York Stock Exchange in 2021. It has also partnered with Hollywood actress Zendaya, who joined the brand in June 2024 and has collaborated on several footwear designs.
On has continued to record strong financial growth. Its revenue increased 13.5 per cent to CHF850.3 million ($1.03 billion) in the three months ending in June, while net income reached CHF105 million ($127 million), compared with a loss recorded during the same period a year earlier.
The company expects full-year revenue of between CHF3.47 billion and CHF3.56 billion, equivalent to approximately $4.2 billion to $4.3 billion.
Burna Boy remains one of Africa’s most internationally recognised music acts. He won the Grammy Award for Best Global Music Album in 2021 for Twice as Tall.
In July 2023, he became the first African artist to headline and sell out a US stadium when he performed at Citi Field in New York.
The singer has been signed to Atlantic Records, a division of Warner Music Group, since 2017 and also operates his own record label, Spaceship Entertainment, which he established in 2015.
His eighth studio album, No Sign of Weakness, was released in July 2025.
