Arsenal would not be able to make the trip to Prague next season for a league-phase game in the Champions League, due to a UEFA regulation which seeks to stop clubs playing each other more than once on league duty.
The Gunners play Czech side at Fortuna Arena, looking for another three points in their European game.
That fixture is no stranger to Mikel Arteta’s side, who defeated Slavia Prague 3-0 at the VENUE last November in the same stage of the competition. The goalscorers for that encounter were Bukayo Saka from a spot kick and two from Mikel Merino.
But due to the competition rules of the UEFA, the two clubs are unable to face off in a further league-stage game against Slavia Prague at home for three seasons in a row.

PARA 16.03 of the Champions League rules state UEFA can impose seedings and restrictions on draws to prevent fixture clashes. This rule also means that Arsenal still could have been drawn against Slavia Prague in the next edition of the competition but would have been banned from playing the tie away.
It would not stop the teams from being drawn together in the knockout stages.
Arsenal, who drew 2-2 against Bayern Munich in their previous Champions League match, will be aiming for a positive reaction in Europe. Arsenal are on the front foot ahead of this fixture having triumphed at Anfield when beating Liverpool.
