The Super Falcons are still celebrating their win over Botswana. The adoring Super Falcons midfielder Halimatu Ayinde has praised the team for their remarkable performance in their previous game against Botswana in which they fairly defeated Botswana with a 2.0 win in the current AFCON game.
“Great performance from the team last night what a combination that was,” she tweeted.
Onumonu scored the first goal in the 21st minute after a lovely pass from our always lively Ayinde. Onumonu was able to flick the ball past the Botswana defense and she then fired the ball into the goalpost. Christy Ucheibe added the icing on the cake by scoring another goal three minutes after the break.
Expectations are high as the Super Falcons meet Burundi in their next game. We hope for another win
