Actors Guild of Nigeria confirms Adah Ameh’s Death.

Nigerian comedian and actress Adah Ameh have been confirmed dead.

The president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria -AGN, Emeka Rollas confirmed the news during a phone interview with the BBC Pidgin.

He however added that the official confirmation of the cause of the actress’s death was yet to be confirmed. The sad news of Adah Ameh’s death is coming after about two years of her only child’s demise, Ms. Aladi Godgift Ameh who died in October 2020.

Ada Ameh had been in the Nollywood industry for over 25 years and she began her career with the blockbuster movie, Domitilla. She was born on May 15, 1974, and she hails from Benue state.

The late actress had featured in a lot of movies, including Oloture, 30 days in Atlanta, and several others. She was the current lead role actress in the sitcom program on DSTV and GOTV, “The Johnsons.” Ada had been an advocate for the girl child development project and has received accolades within and outside Nigeria for excellence.

Aladi God gift Ameh, the late actress’s child died in October 2020 after a surgery she underwent. According to Ada, Aladi had been sick and when she went to a hospital, doctors reported that the surgery was performed to check for the growth of a tumor. Aladi had been 32 years old when she died.
