Henry Nwosu, a former Nigerian Midfielder believes that Victor Osimhen, super eagles striker, is capable of leading Napoli to the Scudetto title if he continues to do well this season.

Osimhen scored his second goal for Napoli in the match against Monza which they thrashed Monza 4-0. He also scored in the game against Verona despite the booing and racist insults thrown at him by Verona fans, which led to Verona being fined.

According to Nwosu, Osimhen has been terrific since the start of the season, judging from his performance. He prays Osimhen remains consistent and injury free as that will make him lead his team to win the Serie A title.

“Osimhen has been positive since the start of the Serie A season with Napoli going by his goal-scoring form.

“I pray he remains consistent and also be free from injury because if he maintains this form he can lead Napoli to the Serie A title this season.”

Osimhen has had to deal with a couple of injuries, as that’s one of the reasons he’s always putting on a mask on the field, despite his injuries he still emerged as Napoli’s top scorer last season with 14 goals to his name in 27 appearances.
