Dosu Joseph, super eagles goalkeeper has praised the Flamingos over their incredible Performance at the U-17 Women’s World Cup Games, as they defeated Chile 2-1 on Monday.
The girls reinforced and tightened up their belts after starting on the wrong foot, as they lost to Germany in the opener of the U-17 WWC. They later thrashed New Zealand 4-0 in the second game at the group stages.
According to him, it is quite an incredible performance from the girls. They never gave up hope after they lost to Germany in the opening game. They bounced back as they defeated New Zealand and Chile, which is a pointer that the girls are ready to bring the cup home
“It was a brilliant performance from the girls and I am proud of them.”

Nigerians are expecting much from the U-17 team, considering that the U-20 team could not get past the quarter-finals.
