Didier Deschamps, France’s coach has said that he’s positive that Paul Pogba will be in action for France in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar which officially starts in November. He made this statement, in an interview.
Pogba has just returned to training with his teammates at Juventus after he sustained a tear in his lateral meniscus, just two weeks after he transferred to Juventus, he was scheduled for surgery. There have been several speculations that he wouldn’t be able to feature for France in the world cup.
According to Didier, they are patiently waiting for him to recover, but he knows that Pogba is a strong player. So they are praying he gets back on his feet so that he’ll be of help to both France and Juventus.
“We are waiting for him quietly.”
“We have to give him time to come back, but we all know the player he is.
“Let’s hope he comes back in shape, that way he will help both Juve and the France team.”
N’golo Kante has been ruled out from the World Cup considering that he sustained another injury, just some weeks after returning to training.
