Reports have it that some unknown gunmen in Anambra state invaded a Maternity hospital in Nkpologwu, Aguta L.G.A in Anambra state and kidnapped four newborn babies.
The reason for this dastardly action is unknown, according to a source, The incident happened on Tuesday night and the residents got to know on Wednesday morning.
The source said, “It happened in our community on Tuesday night and people have been discussing it since Wednesday morning. They said some gunmen stormed the hospital (name withheld) and took away four babies from the hospital.
According to the residents in the area, no one was injured, they only took the four babies and left, and no one knows what they want to do with the babies.
The Anambra state’s Police spokesperson was contacted and he revealed that they are not aware of this incident and that they’ll confirm and get back to news respondents.
If the police confirm the incident, the federal government has to find a way to stop these dastardly acts perpetrated by these miscreants.
