Investigations as to the death of Ondo Couples who were found unconscious in their apartment with their baby dead in Owo, Owo LGA of Ondo State, have begun, this was revealed by the Ondo State Police Command.
On Friday, Tawa, a 29 years old woman, and her husband were found lying unconscious in their house with their five-month-old baby lying lifeless, the couple was immediately rushed to FMC Owo, where the woman died, and her husband is in critical condition.
The incident has been confirmed by the Ondo State Police Spokesperson, Mrs. Funmilayo Odunlami. According to her, they are not still aware of what caused the incident, as there are speculations that maybe they inhaled generator fumes, but upon investigation, an empty bottle of sniper was found on the scene, this might be the cause. However, investigations are still ongoing on the issue.
The PPRO said, “We can’t say exactly what caused the incident for now. Some are saying it was caused by generator fume, but an empty bottle of snipper was also found in the room. So it may be that the couple sprayed snipper into the room before going to bed. So the investigation is ongoing on the matter.”
