We are gradually entering the rainy season, but that doesn’t mean that there won’t still be fire incidents. Some parts of the Olowu Spare Parts market in the Ikeja area of Lagos State were razed with fire.
According to the Territorial Coordinator National Emergency Management Agency(NEMA) Ibrahim Farinloye, told news respondents on Thursday that the fire started in the early hours of the day, it affected 13 shops, 4 warehouses, and one restaurant.
According to witnesses, the fire service was swift in their response as they curtailed the fire to avoid its further spread, however, the cause of the incident cannot be determined yet, but fortunately, no one died from the incident.
