Despite all the controversies surrounding the Lagos State elections, Governor Sanwo Olu who was reelected for a second term received his certificate of return, alongside his deputy, Obafemi Hamzat o Thursday.
Governor Babjide Sanwo-Olu, polled 762134 votes under the All Progressive Congress, his closest competition Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour of the Labour Party polled a total number of 312, 329 votes.
The Governor and his Deputy were accompanied by their wives to the INEC office in Lagos State to collect the certificate of return that will see him lead Lagos again for another four years.
