Ayodele Fayose, the former Governor of Ekiti State, has requested the Peoples Democratic Party to apologize to him for suspending him from the party.
According to Fayose, the suspension was libelous and was done to soil his personality.
Fayose had through his lawyer, Akinwale Kol-Taiwo, addressed a letter dated Friday, March 31 to the party’s acting national chairman, Iliya Damagum, highlighting that he had been suspended for no reason.
Kol-Taiwo had then, through the letter, stated that if the PDP fails to issue an apology to Fayose within 72 hours of receiving the letter, he would commence legal actions against the party.
