Nigeria’s Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, had on Friday, April 21, in Abuja, stated that the opposition would not determine the winner for the Senate Presidency/Seat even though the present ruling party, the All Progressives Congress, APC no longer had the strong presence it once enjoyed.
According to Lawan, the governing APC has to involve the opposition parties in the leadership structure to ensure legislative stability.
But, Lawan has yet to make his intention known, concerning the Senate President seat as he had avoided discussing his involvement in the Senate presidency race.
