Tiwa Savage To Perform At King Charles III Coronation

Nigerian singers are known all over the world, for their unique style of music, and they’ve never ceased to make the country proud.

Nigerian Afro beats Queen, Tiwa Savage will be performing at the Coronation of King Charles III, the Coronation is to take place on Saturday, May 6 at Westminster Abbe, and a concert which follows after the Coronation will take place on Sunday, May 7th.

Amongst international artists invited to perform at the concert, our queen of Afrobeats, Tiwa Savage was also invited.

Speaking about her invitation, she said that it’s an honor representing the whole of Africa in such a history event, and she’s happy to bring Afrobeats to the entire world

“It’s truly an honor to be representing Africa and the Commonwealth at such a historic event. I look forward to joining the celebrations and bringing Afrobeats to Windsor Castle for the first time!”

Queen Elizabeth II passed away on September 8, 2022, at the age of 96, after ruling for 70 years, her eldest son Prince Charles, is to be crowned the King of England III. Inviting Tiwa Savage for such an event, is a big boost to Afrobeats, as it’ll place Nigerian Artists at the top of the world. 

This is a very big win for all African artists, as it has placed put very own songs on the highest pedestal in the world, what could be more achieving than being invited to perform at the Coronation of one of the world’s most popular monarchs.
