Things got heated in the ring this week as Nollywood star Charles Okocha threw punches and accusations after his boxing match with Nigerian singer Portable. While Portable celebrated his victory, Okocha claims the fight was anything but fair.

You might know Portable from his catchy tunes and, well, let’s just say, “colorful” personality. And Okocha? He’s the guy who made “gimme some accolades” a national catchphrase. So, when these two stepped into the ring, you knew it wouldn’t be a dull match.

Portable emerged victorious, but Okocha isn’t having it. He’s calling the fight rigged, claiming the referee let Portable get away with a big no-no: taking off his gloves during the third round. That, according to Okocha, should have been an instant disqualification.

“How can you give up when there’s still a whole round left?” Okocha fired off on social media. “And taking off your gloves?

He went on to say the whole thing was “rigged” by a “clueless” referee. But even with his accusations, Okocha’s not ready to throw in the towel. He’s already hinting at a rematch, promising to settle things in the ring once and for all.

So, will there be a round two for Okocha and Portable? Stay tuned, my people because this fight is far from over!
