Pastor Kelvin Okafor, the General Overseer of an Abuja church, leaves his wife and four children to secretly get married to his church’s women’s leader at a hotel in Owerri.

The head of Jesus Divine Solution and Deliverance Outreach on Arab Road, Abuja, faces allegations of abandoning his wife of 17 years, Mrs. Chidiebere Okafor, for a divorcee, Mrs. Chinenye Jessica Nwaneri.

The traditional marriage occurred at a hotel in Owerri, Imo State, on Saturday, June 22, to prevent media backlash, since Pastor Okafor is still legally married to his first wife.

Guests were told not to take photos or videos, but an undercover reporter was able to attend and witness the event.

Sources reveal that Mrs. Chidiebere Okafor is unaware that her legally married husband has broken their vows to be with another woman.

Moreover, Pastor Okafor’s new wife, an Ordained Elder of the church, is fully conscious that he remains legally married to Mrs. Chidiebere.

Many have condemned Pastor Okafor for betraying his wife and acting against the holy scripture he preaches. His wife stood by him when he had nothing.

As the community reacts to this news, Pastor Okafor and his new wife have yet to publicly address the situation, leaving many unanswered questions about the future of his ministry and personal life.
