Popular American music producer and rapper, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has been featured in the plot of the murder of rapper Tupac Shakur in 1996.

According to the documents, the head of the Bad Boys Records accused the man, suspect Duane “Keefe D” Davis, who was arrested for the murder last year, of receiving $1 million for the assassination of Shakur.

The papers, filed on Thursday (July 18), mention Diddy 77 times under his various pseudonyms: Puffy, Puff Daddy, Puff and his real name, Sean Combs. From the documents, it is seen that Keefe D had earlier opined that he was not implicating any other person. But it is believed that he paid a lot of money for those killings.

One of the transcripts is said to have Davis confirming Diddy’s participation in the shooting of 2Pac. When questioned by the police, Davis accused Diddy of financing his demise as a result of rivalry and fear from Shakur who had recently released a diss track against him.

These documents have been made by the prosecutors in order to counter Davis’ latest application for bail, which was turned down last month on the grounds that there are questions over the source of the bail funds.

We are yet to know whether Diddy will be subpoenaed or indicted in connection with the case.
