House of Ga’a’ Claims the Spotlight on Netflix Nigeria

Currently trending on the Netflix Nigeria list since July 26th when it was released, “House of Ga’a” tells the story of the Yoruba people in the 18th century. This historical film features many stars and deals with power and politics in the Oyo Empire of Nigeria with emphasis on the figure of Ga’a. The series depicts his intelligence to ascend to the throne as a result of regicide and what should make it even more interesting is the fact that the viewers are put on the edge as they watch this.

The success they recorded is indicative of the audience’s quest for local content and more so historical productions. Due to the strong characters and an amazing plot of intrigue and mystery, many viewers found interest and cultural values of Yoruba people in “House of Ga’a”.

“House of Ga’a” is immediately succeeded by the Indian movie “Savi,” in which the woman’s commitment to liberating her husband from jail remains unshaken. The speculative drama has enthralled the audience with a shocking story and powerful feelings.

The third is the “The Scorpion King 2: Rise of a Warrior” which has acted as an action-adventure and has maintained an optimistic response among the viewers of the Scorpion King film series. The aspects of mythology and action have well impressed the Nigerian audiences according to the movie.

“Non Negotiable,” a gripping thriller about a hostage negotiator tasked with rescuing the kidnapped Mexican president and his wife, ranks fourth. The film’s suspenseful narrative and high stakes have kept viewers on the edge of their seats.

Next, at number five, an Indian action movie, ‘Maharaja,’ is followed by the romantic-disaster movie ‘Titanic’ at number six. Such films have attracted the viewers through interesting staking and magnificent performances.

Rounding out the top ten are the action movies “Shina,” “Chhota Bheem: The episode called “The Curse of Damyaan,” as well as the episode titled “Trigger Warning,” have become the audience’s favorite due to the exciting stunts that are incorporated into the show and the attractive and engaging plot that is being developed in the series.
