The Chairman of Silverbird Group, Senator Ben Murray Bruce has disclosed that Nigeria will host the Miss Universe pageantry in 2025, if Miss Chidimma Adetshina, the current Miss Universe Nigeria, wins the international crown this year. He said the Silverbird Group will ensure this happens and that Nigeria would be the location for the noble event.
Murray-Bruce highlighted that past difficulties, such as those faced during the 2002 attempt to host Miss World in Nigeria, have been addressed and will not be repeated. He gave assurance that Nigeria is prepared to return to the world market place and demonstrate the country’s progress and potential.
Chidimma Adetshina, who recently won the Miss Universe Nigeria title, previously withdrew from the Miss South Africa pageant due to questions surrounding her nationality.
