A Nigerian father wants justice after his one-year-old child had a serious injuries on the first day at the Ago Palace Daycare, Okota, Lagos. The family has described being in shock after the occurrence of the incident especially since the daycare has not provided an explanation over how the injuries were inflicted.
The case came to the limelight when human rights activist by the name Harrison Gwamnishu, posted the story of the father on social media. As reported by the father, the owner of the daycare claimed that another child inflicted the injuries, while doctors stated that the wounds could have been inflicted by an animal.
Attempts to report the case to the police have been allegedly prevented, with people accusing the owner of the daycare of making use of her money to hush the case. The family still wants an explanation as well as justice for their child, while the many on social media remain furious over the case and want the matter deeply investigated.
