In the latest shocking twist in the mounting court case of disgraced rapper Sean Combs known as Diddy, retailing giant Costco, flatly refuted the claim that it had sold any quantity of baby oil to the beleaguered star. The response was prompted by various claims from Diddy’s lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, who insisted that the rapper’s stash of more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil, seized by federal law enforcement was purchased in wholesale lots from Costco.
In March, the raid at Diddy’s mansion in Beverly Hills culminated in drugs and other things allegedly for use in notorious orgies referred to as “freak offs.” With the scandal still a topic of consideration, a new TMZ Studios documentary entitled ‘The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment,’ outlines more about the legal situation of the rapper.
But Costco didn’t waste any time tearing that defense apart. “None of the company’s US locations carry baby oil,” the retailer told TMZ, taking little time to shoot down Agnifilo’s claim.
