In the video that went viral lately, the widow of late singer Sound Sultan, Farida Fasasi, is seen visiting his grave with their children. They came to the grave where he was buried with flowers and remembered him with prayers and affection.
Sound Sultan died on the 11th of July, 2021, after fighting a rare cancer that had afflicted him at 44 years of age. His death created a very big void, not only in the music world but also in the life of his family. Farida, in the video, penned a touching prayer for eternal peace and comfort to rest upon her late husband.
“May Allah ease your pain and grant you comfort,” she wrote.
Their picture showed how much love and pain Farida and her children still feel inside. It was to remind one of the tender bond that Sound Sultan created with them as a husband and father gone too soon. His memory will forever remain in their hearts even though he is gone.
Rest in peace, Sound Sultan. May his family find comfort in their memories of him.
