Rap sensation Nicki Minaj furiously shut down the rumors circling on social media again that she is taking a hiatus from music. It started when an X account @NMCaviar tweeted, “Nicki Minaj announces she’s going on a hiatus.” But true to form, the rapper went on to shoot down those rumors in her usual brazen way.
Nicki Minaj replied on X : “Ain’t going no mthfkn where. Kiss my a** and hiatus.” That basically said it all. The Queen of Rap has more to give her fans in the near future.
Those rumors got tongues wagging, particularly given Minaj’s tendency to go off-grid. In December 2019, just two months into her marriage with Kenneth Petty, she announced retirement to start a family. In 2020, Minaj welcomed her baby boy and shortly after resumed her music career. During her recent comeback, the news that she will not be leaving the limelight soon has been a sigh of relief among her fans.
