Despite the announcement of the February 25th Presidential Elections and House of Senate and Reps elections, citizens are still in doubt about the whole Collation process as we’ve had several protests in several states as regards this issue.
Women and youths in the Bende L.G.A took to the streets to protest against the results of the Presidential Elections, especially the Bende Federal Constituency National Assembly seat, according to them the whole process was a sham and the results ought to be canceled.
As they believe that Chief Frank Chinasa of the Labour Party won the election and that Peter Obi also won the election in Bende but were surprised to see a different result entirely.
They blocked the Uzuakoli- Akara road and chanted solidarity songs, holding different placards to express their grievances.
